Bryson & Reebok

Breaking down Bryson DeChambeau and Reebok's new partnership.

🗣️ Hello Friends,

We got some interesting news about a new partnership in the golf world that involves apparel and shoes.

I know everyone is busy so let’s dive right into it!

✍️ Bryson Signs With Reebok

Last week, Reebok announced that they have partnered with Bryson DeCheambeau and his LIV Golf franchise, Crushers GC, to promote their new golf apparel and shoe lines.

This news coincides with Reebok announcing the release of their golf shoe, Nano, which are targeted to make their way onto shelves in March of 2025.

Additionally, Bryson debuted wearing these shoes last night during ‘The Showdown’ golf match.

This is quite an intriguing move for Reebok, who have been relatively absent from making golf apparel and merchandise.

Former two-time major champion John Daly was signed to Reebok for six years in the 1990s, but since then, they have not had a featured athlete as big as Daly.

With Nike taking a step back in their own golf endeavors, as they recently split with Tiger Woods, I believe it is a great time for Reebok to claim a piece of the golf market share again.

😤 Why the Reebok and Bryson Partnership Will Excel

Content Wins

I love jokingly nicknaming Bryson the “Content King” on social media because it’s absolutely true.

He has proven that he has come up with engaging content series that are either short-form or long-form videos:

  • Breaking 50 with Tom Brady, Donald Trump, Tony Romo, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Garrett Clark, Grant Horvat, and many others!

  • Hole-In-One Challenge over his house.

  • Trying to break course records.

  • Random Club challenges.

Bryson comes off very authentic and easy to root for in his videos.

He has become one of the most influential athletes over the last year from the content he has produced.

Bryson obtains all the qualities that brands look for when they choose who they want to partner with.

Viewership

Even though Reebok is technically sponsoring his LIV Golf franchise, that is not where the eyeballs are. Viewership has been underwhelming for LIV ever since the league started.

People are primarily watching Bryson on YouTube. Specifically on Youtube, he currently has 1.64 million subscribers and has nabbed 218 million views on his channel in 2024.

Where else are people watching Bryson? Major championships.

Yes, I know golf only has four major championships, that’s four weeks out of the entire year.

But the majors are where the most people watch golf, especially in this divided golf landscape.

Bryson truly contended in three of the four major championships, notably winning the U.S. Open this year at Pinehurst.

There were numerous funny Bryson moments of him just being himself last year in the majors, which made headlines and memes in the golf universe.

World-Class Golfer

I believe that Bryson DeChambeau is a top 5 player in the world right now.

He is a two-time U.S. Open Champion at the age of 31, and he also has a runner-up finish to Xander Schauffele at the PGA Championship this past season.

He is one of the most exciting players to watch on the golf course because of the way he hits his driver. In 2024, he averaged 313 yards off-the-tee. That would have been inside the top 10 on the PGA Tour.

People also fail to realize how good of a putter he is. When he makes a big putt, you know he will celebrate with not only his caddie, but will spark the crowd.

Bryson is in the prime of his career, which is the perfect time for Reebok to invest.
